Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Excellent Savings Vehicle

So easy to set up an online account that provides very competitive rates that many traditional savings providers just cannot match . Interest being applied monthly is a real benefit and everything is covered by £85k protection. . Communication via the App is excellent and its simple to download statements if required Reviewed on: 17th April 2025

A quality bank worth the investment

My experience is from various perspectives: opening accounts for myself after being recommended Atom by a friend; opening an account for my Mum under Power of Attorney and closing my Mum's account when she died. In all cases, especially on my Mother's death Atom have been efficient, friendly, easy to use, prompt and most of all human! They pay a very competitive rate - with fantastic service.
