Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Great App but interest rate now lets it down

Applied for an Atom account on the recommendation of a friend. Great app, ease of use and instant transfer of funds. Only downside is the significant reduction in interest rates. When I opened my first account the interest rate was well above the majority of other banking organisations, now it’s merely average and I have redistributed a significant amount of savings elsewhere. Excellent and straightforward service

We have used the on line service to set up four savings accounts so far, the process was straightforward without any issues. Following a house move we phoned Atom to change our address and again the process was straightforward and the representative was very polite and helpful.
