Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Interest rate good.

Great savings provider

Easy to set up and use the app. It works every time. Notifications received every time that there is transaction on my account. Competitive interest rates - not the best in the market but everything else about the account makes up for that. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

Antiquated.

I have money with you and I’m now over the limit for having money in bonds. A ceiling of £100,000 is one if the most rediculas amounts I have heard if with a bank especially now money is covered to £120,000 Also your CEO don’t reply to his emails. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

Happy but concerned

I am happy with the savings account that I hold but am concerned about the number of people complaining about the service and inability to withdraw funds. I have not yet tried to make a withdrawal. Reviewed on: 4th March 2026

Cost me money

I opened a savings account. They kept lowering the interest, even more so when there was an interest rate cut. That pressured me into sticking a small amount of money into a fixed interest account. I was getting interest monthly and thought this new account was doing the same. I then found out this account paid 9 months later and paid interest into the following tax year and not using this years tax free allowance. Next years allowance is taken with other savings so i now lose 20% of £*** interest. When i noticed i contacted Atom and was told there is nothing that could be done.... No help whatsoever and will not be using again... Reviewed on: 3rd March 2026
