Hit by a boarder on the first morning of a ski trip. That was the end of several ski trips! Wonderful help and guidance while in Andorra. They made every step very clear. Excellent help on my return. Excellent verbal and email communication. Straight forward forms to fill and a reasonable request for medical validation. Prompt decision and payment. The Avanti experience was the only good thing about the holiday. Just wish with the aging population that they would cover me and many others, once over 70. I will be sad to leave them. Efficient, competitive and fit for purpose

Having suffered a couple of serious medical episodes (no more detail, I don't want to put anyone off) I was quoted an absolutely horrendous premium for travel insurance by my (then) insurance provider. I rang around several firms with little variation but each and every one wanted chapter and verse on my condition and with many repeats as they ploughed through their 'script.' I then saw an Avanti advertisement and gave them a call. Within 15 minutes I had insurance cover for my medical issues, a lot cheaper than anyone else I contacted. The Avanti agent was polite, professional and even offered a discount to bring my premium down even more. Most importantly he LISTENED to my replies negating the need to delve deeper into conditions I did not have! I paid online and received my documents within minutes. Had associated medial conditions which could have made it difficult to get cover but needed to sort quickly as we were going to my daughters wedding in New Zealand. The advisor was very helpful, very empathic and sorted out good cover at a very competitive price. Considerably (by almost half!!) cheaper than all the other quotes we got. last year we had a holiday booked to Portugal, unfortunately a couple of weeks before departure my wife was taken seriously ill and we had to claim the cancellation on our Avanti insurance. The company was a pleasure to deal with and quickly sorted everything out to our satisfaction and relief. \Would definately recommend this company to others we have already taken Avanti for our next trip this year Reviewed on: 31st July 2017
