I had almost 20,000 stolen from my savings account. I don't know how on earth this has happened because for a reason I don't ever use that account. Until recently I was getting skint, having a newborn baby costs a lot and I needed to pay rent, bills and food. This is not the first time it's happened either. My debit card got cloned just right about Christmas a couple of years ago. The security is not good at all. I can't trust this bank. Either bank. Merry Xmas. Reviewed on: 23rd December 2014

Not accepted for a current account elsewhere so this account was a god send

I'd been turned down for a current account at other banks so Barclays helped me by a lot by offering me this account. It's more basic than others I've read about, but works for me. Reviewed on: 28th October 2014
