Not great legal work

Relatively slow process and high (unnecessary?) fees. Not impressed by the solicitor handling the case for BBS. Although I recognise they are acting for BBS and not on my behalf they were fairly uncommunicative, incorrectly quoted fees for work, slow to update information (e.g. completion statements were out of data and therefore inaccurate) , incorrect statements, left requests for vital (and large) fees until less than 1 hour before completion deadline. Charging £35 for completing the process online instead of by post? in the 21st century???? Some kind of joke? Reviewed on: 3rd April 2023

It might be worth taking this up with the Solicitors acting as it seems there has been various issues here as you have highlighted. Bath building society were professional, responsive and approachable

Great Company for Mortgage Support

very difficult to get 50% mortgage

their solicitor panel ackroydlegal.com are horrible and incompetent which makes the overall experience with BBS terrible. i would avoid if possible Reviewed on: 24th March 2023
