Have been with boom bank for a couple of years never...

Help where none else was available

I was a plasterer for 36 years then signed off work due too illness, which led to ( losing home, my van , and possessions) and ultimately homelessness whilst dealing with worsening MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES, while no bank etc ... would entertain even a debit card for me, I won a County court case for adur council to priority house me, luckily 5 minutes from BOOM CREDIT UNION and after no hassle at all in a week owned a debit card again and have had one repaid loan from them already, honestly small selfless acts of trust meant and still do mean so much to me at the moment, because I was and am still shocked at my treatment by the DWP AND ADUR COUNCIL in my hour of need and I'd paid taxes all my life, BOOM did not owe me anything but was willing to give me a chance, and that is a big part of making me feel "NORMAL" again , thank you!!! Professional, considerate and prompt

Boom credit union was recommended to me by a Freind. I needed money to cover an urgent trip. I phoned my local office (Worthing) and was invited to discuss my options with an advisor. The team were understanding of my situation and we’re non-judgemental. The advisor empathised with my circumstances at that time and I found this comforting and supportive. I also met some of the senior team and they were also approachable and understanding. They worked promptly and efficiently to provide me with the funds I needed. They kept in contact with me and supported me with my repayment plan. I was never made to feel threatened or panicked if I was struggling to return payments. They listened, understood and supported me to make repayments. They ensured that repayments were realistic and achievable for me. I have recommended their services to others because in times of financial worry and the stress it causes, they are a great source of support and reassurance. I also saved money with them too!
