Good student benefits

They have good benefits when opening the account but their customer service is not as good. When in branch they are helpful but over the phone you can end up being passed around a lot of people. Reviewed on: 20th March 2023

Complicated

Good starter account

Discounts are acceptable, let down by response to problems.

If their ‘security’ suspects a breach, they ‘block’ your account, stop paying direct debits - and don’t even tell you!. Sorting it out becomes a major problem, and your credit rating takes a shock. Reviewed on: 17th March 2023

Best account for bills

This account, alongside the newly introduced Santander Edge Current Account is the best account on the market for paying bills, specifically by direct debit. These accounts are the only ones currently on offer with ant institution that offer this service making them a must-have for pretty much anyone. I would strongly recommend them. A decent bank account

It pays for itself in terms of the cash back vs the fee, and it’s easy to use with a good app. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023
