Having been a customer of Abbey and now Santander for almost FORTY YEARS and two mortgages a personal pension also many savings accounts later.All of which I have now paid off cashed in or transferred to my works pension.I have now retired at 55 and other than the PPI debacle my claims were settled eventually and I put down to a bad culture ,but other than that I have no complaints with this bank.Over all those years I have heard of problems other people have had which I have not shared and have only had positive outcomes when dealing with staff . When mistakes were made by them I was always compensated when they were brought to light.Sandanders 123 Current Account should have been copied by the rest of the banks as it rewards me lucky enough to hold the maximum amount and my monthly costs council tax ..etc.l hope my comments go some way to give Sandander the good name they really deserve and to thank them for their help during my working life. Good interest rate on 20K & bills cashback

Low minimum monthly pay in of £500. Cashback on bills virtually pays account fee even for low household bills. 1.5% interest on up to 20K and linked regular savings pays 5% on £200/month. Reviewed on: 27th November 2018

Great account, great benefits

The 123 Santander account is great for monthly income and disposal. It pays quite a good rate of interest for a current account and with the added benefits of cashback it makes sense to use it. I have had one without problem for years. Reviewed on: 26th November 2018
