By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best value to do my insurance by miles used as I have a low mileage to start with but with the Pandemic about I have used the car a few miles a week at the most. This makes the monthly charge minimal which is at least a bonus o being at home far too much. Good idea By Miles. Reviewed on: 11th August 2020

I wanted to have my car in London which can be a really hefty extra expense. A parking permit turned out to be cheaper than expected but all insurance was through the roof for someone that will only use the car for groceries and heading north to visit family on occasion. By Miles was the cheapest option by a mile (pardon the pun) and has made it affordable for me to have my car and the freedom it brings in the capital. Great idea, well executed!

Just what I've been waiting for - a policy that effectively covers my landrover when off the road, and ramps up for full cover when on the road. And I don't have to do anything as the gizmo tells you where I am all the time! Love it. couldn't be better for me - thanks. Reviewed on: 11th August 2020
