By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

In my experience, By Miles really does stand out for car insurance. Communication is great, non intrusive, regular and appropriate, and the app, in my experience, gives information not available from other insurers. As a relatively low mileage driver, the costs are proportional and therefore less than with a standard insurer. Reviewed on: 11th August 2020

Innovative insurance offering that's saved me a lot of money

I switched to By Miles as we don't do a lot of mileage. I made the decision before COVID and despite the increase in the car usage due to the lack of public transport options, I'm still saving a considerable amount on what I would have paid. I always shop around and get a good deal but for me, a mileage-based product is perfect. Love the app, website, emails and general feel of the company too. 5* from me after nine months as a customer. Finally a modern car insurance solution

I think the global pandemic has shown us many things, one of which is that insurance needs an update. Many people have paid a full years cover and haven't driven since march. But ByMiles have already cracked it, you only pay for what you drive, it makes sense and it's fair. Plus it is competitive and helps you control costs and think about cutting down on driving for the environment. Also the app is excellent! Reviewed on: 11th August 2020

This is my first time with by miles and I wish I had known about them sooner. So easy and affordable. It's been great over the pandemic as its kept cost down with not driving so much. And the app is awesome. So easy to use, would definitely be using this insurance for the foreseable future. And recommending fo everyone I know! I love how on the app It maps out the journey you've been on and times of departure and arrival. Handy when you need to know mileage and time. And has all the policy details on the app too incase its needed. Normally I forget who I'm insured with but this is so simple. Reviewed on: 11th August 2020
