By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Miles better than the rest

ByMiles does what it says on the tin; charges only for the miles you actually do. This has saved me £100’s in unnecessary insurance payments, particularly as a relatively low mileage customer or when not on the road due to lockdown restrictions. Highly recommended Reviewed on: 11th August 2020

The future of insurance

If you want to adopt PAYG this is the way forward. I walk, cycle and use public transport most of the time and need the car occasionally - By Miles lets me have comprehensive insurance for the car and pay a nominal per mile fee. An excellent product, I’m so glad I switched. There are no hefty up front fees, I more than halved my insurance costs. I like being able to pay for the actual driving I do. Bymiles track your every mile which means if you're not using your car you're not paying for a service you're not using. This has been excellent during the covid crisis when I havent been using my car! Unlike others who have paid their insurance in full but havent been using their car. Reviewed on: 11th August 2020

Amazing car Insurance company

I was wary at first as I had never heard of by miles and it’s the first time I’ve heard of a pay by miles insurance. But I went ahead and I am amazed at how easy everything was, also when I had an accident last year they were brilliant. Handled fast and efficient. Reviewed on: 11th August 2020
