By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Switched from a previous provider to By Miles insurance in February 2020 and I honestly will not look back. Exactly the type of insurance I required where many other providers would not assist in finding me an affordable quote. The app is super easy and stylish to use, updating you regularly (every journey!) on how much it will cost you. Easy for you keep track for the monthly payment. Fantastic car insurance for low mileage users

Very easy company to deal with. The App gives you up to date daily usage and history. Longer journey charges are capped. Absolutely no fuss when I added my daughter, a newly qualified driver, to my policy. Reviewed on: 30th July 2020

Perfect For Us

This has been the best insurance company I’ve been with. It certainly is perfect for me because I just pay for when I drive. And as there are many people like me that don’t drive that much. The customer service is great and all the information is laid out in a really friendly manner, with updates with useful information emailed to when needed without spamming the inbox.
