By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Most stress free experience of getting car insurance

By Miles made everything so simple and straight forward. Speaking to a UK based customer service team who guided me through the process was great - they were super efficient and helpful. The insurance I have with By Miles is much better suited to the way I drive my car and was much cheaper than any of the other car insurers. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. I am retired and disabled so I don't go out much, I do about 6000 miles a year so why should I pay the same amount as a traveling salesman or someone who travels from one end of the country to the other? By Miles is much fairer, so far I have only paid approximately £10.50 per month and with it being monthly it is much better than trying to find one big lump. I would recommend By Miles to anyone.
