By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Hands down the best insurer I’ve used. So easy to set up and so transparent in what you’re paying for. Love the app functionality - you can see where you’ve been and how much each journey has cost you.
