By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Best car insurance ever

I’ve recently joking By miles and I have to say it’s been an experience like no other. The customer service is incredible, their accessibility is fantastic and all I’m all my insurance price is great! Being a young driver means I have to look extra hard for an insurance that will suit me and my needs (also my budget!) but by miles has exceeded my expectations and has been incredibly helpful in all aspects. Amazing value for the savvy consumer

As a 25-year old driver on a modest income, I’m always looking to save. I found ByMiles using a comparison website and was astounded to find out that a payment structure like this even existed. It’s so easy to get ripped off with your car insurance but for the first time in my time owning a car, I can genuinely say that my car insurance is fair and decent value for what it is and offers. The experience is awesome and it’s so easy to setup - the best at all important points of the customer experience. It is very well thought-out and you can tell straight away. Genius way of working out one's car insurance premium

A very fair approach where your monthly payments are worked out by how much you have driven that month, down to the mile, not by annual estimation which most times are exaggerated. Easy to install tracker, very well designed app. Reviewed on: 18th August 2022

Perfect for today's lifestyle

Paying a base amount for theft etc means I'm focused on not how I drive but why I drive. Since being with By Miles I've slashed my relative outgoings (helps pay for the electric right!) and more importantly improved my health through walking and cycling more. Wins all round for me.
