By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Cheap Car Insurance for low mileage

Having a second car which has low mileage each year we often felt it unfair the premiums we had to pay to the regular insurance companies. By Miles makes it far cheaper by only paying for the mileage we use (plus a small upfront yearly premium). We have saved over £200 by switching to them. The billing if clear and easy and we are kept well advised of how much will be taken each month. The adapter put in your car is unobtrusive and feeds directly into your app so you get no hidden surprises when it comes to paying the bill. Reviewed on: 16th August 2022

Good insurance for someone who does not drive high mileage.

Plug in the By miles recorder into OB2 socket and it monitors every day where you have been and mileage recorded. If you do less mileage than you intended you get a refund! Reviewed on: 16th August 2022

Fantastic for budgeting

I got a great quote/ policy for my car insurance. It is easy to track how much much my monthly payments are going to be on the app. Knowing the less I drive the less the payments are. My best policy yet! Reviewed on: 16th August 2022

Student friendly, easy

Spending half a year at home and half a year at uni, this feels like the most effective way to control and keep track of my driving costs. I feel as if I still get to make the most of driving when I want - but also know that if I’m not, theres not money being wasted going down the drain.
