By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I have been with them for a good few years now and would highly recommend them,they are an amazing company with unimaginable low prices. Very easy to navigate and great customer service. Wouldn't get insured by anyone else. Reviewed on: 13th August 2025

I think it's a great way to pay your insurance, it's value for money and you pay for the mileage you use so a much fairer system. You can also track your mileage. You could even choose to walk rather than use the car if you had an unexpected bill that month to save a wee bit of money that month. Reviewed on: 13th August 2025

Great way to save on car Insurance.... have a look!

Absolutely fantastic way to Insure my car, as I don't do many miles and slightly erratic when I do I'm only paying for the miles I actually drive! Although obviously I pay a yearly fee for my car to be covered fully comprehensive if I'm driving it also covers it when just parked at home for when I don't use it. Although I didn't have to I decided to pay for my estimated miles in advance as I get a full refund for the miles I don't use. Reviewed on: 13th August 2025

By Miles are simply the Best. Your kept informed on a daily basis of your miles and cost to your pocket. Customer service is a breeze. Finally at the end of my 1st year insured by them I received a refund of 12% for lower then expected miles used WOW who does that. Extremely happy to be in the family of by Miles and highly recommend to other drivers looking for low mileage low cost insurance. Reviewed on: 13th August 2025
