By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I only use my car on the rare occasions so paying by miles is perfect for me and has saved me so much money compared to traditional insurance. The app and being able to track how much you spend and where your car is, is also a massive plus point! Reviewed on: 11th August 2022

Superb car insurance provider

We rarely drive or use the car but need it now and again. By Miles is perfect for us as we only pay a small amount every month for the miles we actually use with a one off fee at the start of the renewal period. They constantly come up as the cheapest option when it comes to renewing and their app is really neat and full of information too. On the few times where I’ve contacted customer support they’ve also been excellent so I can’t really say anything other than it’s a fantastic company. Reviewed on: 11th August 2022
