By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

These days when everything is so expensive, it has been a relief to save a little through By Mile as you are charged on your mileage, I have travelled from Rochdale to Birmingham many times throughout the year and all the school runs etc my insurance still worked out cheaper than anywhere else, customer service is also brilliant so I am very happy with By Miles and would definitely recommend Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

The basis on which the cost to the motorist is calculated cannot be more fair. Thus, with the possible exception of those who do a huge mileage, By Miles is a company that suits most motorists and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all. Fantastic value for money, hassle-free provider

By Miles has been the best car insurance provider I’ve used. They offer a cheaper solution for drivers who don’t use their car as often, which is perfect for me. Getting set up as a customer was quick and easy and customer service are always very helpful and informative. I’ve been with By Miles for the past 2 years and wouldn’t swap to another provider. They’re the only insurer who’s renewal quote (for their fixed annual cost) was cheaper than the previous year. By a whole £100 in fact! Their per-mile rate cost also decreased too which I wasn’t expecting despite the fact that I had didn’t make a claim. It’s always increased regardless. The By-Miles app is user-friendly and gives great visibility for mileage and spending each month. I’m due to renew in October and I’m relieved I don’t have to deal with the usual headache of renewing car insurance. Thanks By Miles! Reviewed on: 9th August 2022

Worked out much cheaper

Being a busy mum i use my car mostly during term time. By miles gives me the flexibility of paying for my limited usage whilst having the everyday benefit of being insured at all times. It definitely works out to be cheaper but as a plus point I can speak to someone within minutes with only 2 options on the customer service line my queries are sorted quick time. I also have the benefit of the app with an update on the cost of each journey. This is my second year with them and hope to continue if they stay as competitive as they are already!
