By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

The car insurance revolution!

After doing a quick bit of research when my renewal came up I was in disbelief at first when finding by miles. However, after getting on board with the concept it makes perfect sense and really must have other insurers worried about the revolution coming in how people use and pay for car insurance. Really easy set up and perchance. I imagine there are some this insurance isn't quite right for but for the overwhelming majority by miles will be the go to car insurance moving forward. It just makes sense and I don't feel like I'm being made to pay extortionate prices for insurance. I have already saved about £700 this year. Many thanks By Miles. Reviewed on: 18th August 2021

Trouble free insurance for the low milage drivers

I took out the my miles insurance as I do not travel a lot, except when I go to Cornwall, my home county. I was surprised to see how little I use my vehicle, so it paid off for me. My miles is so easy to deal with, when I send a query I get a reply very quickly. Great Reviewed on: 18th August 2021

Expensive insurance premiums are so last year!

I changed my insurance to ByMiles last year, after getting no cost friendly deals from my then current provider. ByMiles is the exact product I was in search for as my job sees me commuting to London or internationally travelling (pre-Covid) at the drop of a hat. It felt unfair to me to be paying huge premiums on a car that's mostly sat in my garage. With a small upfront fee, my tracker was sent out and received within 2 working days an easy to install. Since the pandemic, my monthly cost is around £15-£20, and that's with me using my car a lot more than usual, but still well under half of what I used to pay. I'm a phone addict so the notifications of my journey costs are most welcome, as this allows me to plan ahead on whether to be the designated driver or not! Longer journeys (up North from London) cost around £5, cheaper than a tube fare ticket! I'm so glad I stumbled across ByMiles and have shouted from the rooftops to all family and friends to get involved, no one, including myself has been disappointed! Reviewed on: 17th August 2021
