By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I had been insured by a mobility insurance consequently when my wife lost her mobility allowance I was forced to seek insurance, this became a financial nightmare due to rising costs when almost ten years of driving mobility cars counted for nothing in the no claims stakes and I was forced to start from scratch as it were. However By Miles fit the bill handsomely when I enquired about their services and subsequently provided me with fully comprehensive insurance for less than half the nearest quote. Brilliant wished I had discovered this company a long time ago.

This is a great insurance company. So good for me. 3 years ago I became un able to drive for long distances. My insurance still had a high annual cost. With lockdown for corona virus my mileage was even less and still the insurance cost was high. This year I found By Miles on a comparison site. Unbelievable. We like ByMiles as their communication is great and provides good view of what is going on. The only downside is that you have to budget for each months usage, so if you go away for a holiday it can really impact the cost. Reviewed on: 10th August 2021
