By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

This insurance is ideal for people like myself, I’ve had a turbulent 18 months, with my health, and have been unable to use my car, and when I do start driving again I will only travel very short distances. I have already recommended to many friends and family. Reviewed on: 5th August 2021

You pay for what you drive for instance during lock down may monthly payments were as little as £9 because my usage was so low. They never take payment before emailing you on the day as a reminder so you can make sure you have enough in you're account. The app is great it shows you all your journeys and individual cost as well as total for the month. It also has a dashboard with all the contacts you might need in case of emergency I've been with by miles for the past 2 years they always come up the cheapest for me and my insurance actually went down from the previous year instead of been a few hundred a year more like other insurance companies. This insurance gives me peace of mind and is cheaper than my previous provider, I only pay for what I need. I only drive around 2000 miles per year these days and the savings top up my pension. Reviewed on: 5th August 2021

The flexibility of the insurance works really well for me in a hybrid working situation and each year they have reduced the cost for continued loyalty. When I have had a query it is dealt with quickly, either on the phone or through the in app chat. Reviewed on: 5th August 2021

I've been with By Miles from the start and it is a fantastic concept. Whilst I have not had much contact with the staff, I have found them very friendly and professional. I have had to shield from the start of the pandemic, but By Miles have sent out many suggestive and informative emails during that time, which were very welcome. Reviewed on: 5th August 2021
