By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Amazing car insurance. not just for low mileage drivers

I drive 12000 miles per year and yet this insurance is still £300 cheaper than anyone else because of the miles cap. Miles tracker simple to install even a goldfish could manage it! Their App is incredible and literally 30 seconds after the car has stopped I get a notification to my smart watch telling me exactly how much the journey cost. I won't buy car insurance from any other provider now, provided their prices stay competitive!!! Reviewed on: 5th August 2021

Great people to deal with, always get a straight answer unlike some other companies I have been with, renewal prices are fair (they remain about the same or lower than the previous year) and they give you plenty of notice of your next payment. Was with a previous insurer for many years, who quoted me a very high renewal quote. I visited a price comparison website, by chance I saw ByMiles. I can see why they’re called ByMiles as they beat all insurance quotes By Miles! Every time I have needed to contact their customer service team, they have always been very efficient and helpful. My insurance policy has consistently never been beaten by any of their current competitors. Their OBDII tracker equipment is amazing, it’s especially helpful when wanting to do some basic diagnosis on your car or when you’ve parked in an unfamiliar place. You can find your vehicle! Best & cheapest Car Insurance I had

When my car insurance was due... I researched on the internet for the best car insurance for my car.. the cheapest was around £600 despite I don't driver my car that much during the year... when ByMiles came in the search with less than £400, I was a bit worried that there must be a catch and sounds to much work them sending me a device to attach to my car to count the miles... Anyway I purchased my insurance with all the extras for less than £400, received the device within a week, was super easy to attach to my car, and every month they send me a statement showing how much extra miles I drove (Less than £20 for the past 5 months). I like the tracking of mileage and cost, which is emailed monthly, as well as being able to review totals myself daily if need. Luckily have not had to use the insurance cover for any reason, so as per review title, no contest so far re recommending to friends and family. Reviewed on: 5th August 2021

Its great to know what you are paying for when you by any kind of product and insurance should be no different. By Miles enables this and makes it so easy to understand and follow.
