By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I'm in my second year with by miles. They genuinely offered the cheapest renewal, cheaper than previous years insurance. There customer service is top notch, and have always been able to sort everything for me easily. Will definitely be sticking with them in the future Reviewed on: 4th August 2021

For a long time now I've resented paying for insurance on a low mileage car - for me the Pandemic brought this home forcibly. Like many people my car was sat on the drive for the best of 10 months yet there was no acknowledgement from my insurer when it came to the renewal. No a single penny, even though I asked. I was so incensed that I started searching for a better way, a company that only charges you for miles you drive. Enter ByMiles. Its a brilliant proposition, tailor made for these times. Keeping it simple

I have been with ByMiles for 2 years now and never had any issues. I get exactly what I pay for and know what I'm paying each month. So I have flexibility in my finances using this kind of insurance. Only pay for what u use. It's great for city living as I commute back and forth so works perfectly for my use cases. I would recommend to anyone who likes to drive local and doesn't want to pay over and above what they need to. ByMiles keeps car insurance simple and straight forward.
