By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

After doing much research online and getting a quote from By Miles it was by far the cheapest way to insure my car this year. The tracker came quickly in the post, installation instructions were easy to follow and very helpful online chat when I had a problem with where to plug in. Great insurance for those who does limited mileages and occasional long distances. The daily capped rate with discount ensures you're reasonably charged. They give you discounted rate after yearly auto renewal. Tracking box also serves as telematics and shows the whereabouts of your vehicle for security and a peace of mind. Highly recommended!!
