By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I love By Miles!

As someone who doesn't always drive a lot, I love that By Miles only charges me for the actual amount I do drive. Their policies are really transparent and customer service is fantastic. I also recently changed my policy to a new car and the process was very simple. Reviewed on: 20th August 2025
