By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I've never had a problem with by miles, they keep me updated on info that is relevant to me and my policy. I only pay for the mileage I drive and nothing more. I can't ask for anything fairer than that. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

Best insurance for occasional / short trip drivers

I paid a basic low 'fee' based on estimated mileage. After that I get a monthly bill calculated on journeys I've made that month. Best value insurance I've ever had and would certainly recommend, based on affordability, communication and ease of billing. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020
