By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Cheapest insurance I could find, with great customer service. You play a flat rate and then pay by mile for the journeys you take each month. Great for those who only do a few small journeys each month and works out much cheaper! Reviewed on: 9th September 2020
