By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

I heard about By Miles on the radio and thought I’d give them a go as I don’t use my car much. They have been brilliant so far - so easy to get started with them and I love seeing how much each of journeys cost. Such a good idea - 5 stars ⭐️ Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

I am so pleased to have discovered By Miles. I commute by train on weekdays but keep my car for family transport at weekends. The policy offers great value for money, the app is easy to use and provides interesting information and the plug-in for my car was easy to install. The payment process is smooth and to only be charged for the mileage I've driven is a fair concept making me feel valued as a customer. I cannot recommend By Miles highly enough. Does exactly what it says. The app is very good for monitoring how many miles have been driven and how much that will cost each month. The live chat within the app is excellent and the operatives respond quickly with very useful information. £50.00 reward to get new users is also very beneficial. Can't fault it one bit! Whether I drive long distance, locally or have car parked up for a while, I know car is covered and am only paying for mileage I do. Friendly and helpful if I have any queries. I have already recommended a family member, who is also happy with By miles. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

With the app it they are very quick to respond and answer any questions you have. And as a car insurance policy they were the cheapest and I pay for what even miles I do. Having the little box that monitors your miles it the best thing I eve did. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020
