By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

Great insurance for low mileage drivers

when I 1st found out about by miles i thought it was to good to be true but after speaking to them I soon found out they are an excellent company and I would recommend them to everyone. I was very well spoken to on the phone and they gave me a great insurance policy which I snapped up straight away. By miles will only get bigger and better and I believe that is what they deserve. By Miles just makes sense!

Super simple to set up. Great competitive rate and saved approximately £500 by choosing By Miles instead of another insurer that charges premiums the traditional way. I like the additional features e.g. the Location tracker and understanding how much I am spending on mileage. No issues so far! Reviewed on: 9th September 2020

Simple - just how it should be

The signup and installation process was so easy and quick to do. I really like the idea of paying for what I use rather than having to take a guess at the start of the year. Easy to update the policy as well. 2 Amendments with no admin fee is a nice touch. Reviewed on: 9th September 2020
