CCU have been my lifeline for many years now.

CCU have been my lifeline for many years now. As a disabled lone Parent with limited income and a poor credit score, I turned to CCU for help when my now, adult children where young, and they literally opened their hearts to me to help me with my finances and they’ve continued to do so ever since. I’ve had several critical situations that they’ve helped me with, such as respite breaks for my disabled daughter and myself, after years of struggling with our disabilities and getting much needed breaks, CCU stepped in and help us out every time. CCU helped us out when we were moving to a another house to meet our needs. CCU have also been there to help me to give my children, Happy Christmas’s. I would have gone under without CCU they are genuinely a lifeline for me and many other people who struggle with their finances. They are the best financial institution and their staff and management are so well trained and emphatic providing a friendly and understanding experience when sometimes we have no where else to turn. I started with the credit union by getting a much needed loan. When that was paid off, I continued to save the amount I had been using to pay off the loan with. I had never saved money before and it came in very handy for bills, birthdays etc I had to reduce the amount I was saving due to the cost of living but I still save a bit and just forget about it until I need it. The Central Credit Union is brilliant, it helps people like myself a carer, who are forced to live on a small amount of money. Reviewed on: 18th June 2024
