Chase has been a fantastic move for me from TSB.

Chase has been a fantastic move for me from TSB. Their current account has a good 1% AER, I really enjoy their 1% cash back on almost all spending and the opportunity to round up my spending and put that in a Round Up savings account. The account is very easy to manage through their app and the customer service is excellent. I had an issue trying to get a refund for an expensive item that they had placed the funds in a holding account for. They could have been a lot quicker to sort this for me but we’re very quick once I contacted customer services. The fact that you can reach them by instant message in the app rather than ringing a phone line and waiting in a long queue is amazing. It’s also great that there are no fees for spending abroad. I would recommend a chase current account to anyone. However, if I could, I would give them 4.5 stars because there have been a couple of times when their systems went down and I have been unable to make payments for several hours, although they kept customers informed, I was glad I had a second account with a different bank or I would have been stuck abroad with no access to money. Easy to use, great rate of interest & cashback .

Very easy to use & understand how the account works. On the odd occasion when I have had to contact customer service, they have been brilliant in responding quickly and providing the information I needed . The best bank I have ever had.

This is the best bank I have ever had. They pay me interest on my account and it is easy to transfer it to savings accounts. I signed up for a system called Roundup which automatically saves the difference between what I spend and the next pound and give me a higher rate for it. I wish all banks were this easy to use and pay interest. Reviewed on: 18th February 2024

A great online account packed with useful features

I like the additional sub accounts that can be created and labelled to clearly show where I put my money, the round-up given and the further tab on save & invest. A free bank account with opportunities to earn cashback up to the same amount I have had to pay just to have a bank account is a great start. The round ups are always a nice surprise and the app is easy to use. The ease of transfer between instant access saving and current account means that although I could get a higher rate elsewhere I would probably not have so much money invested. I can transfer all my income into saving pots and simply either pay from that pot online or transfer as needed to current. It’s the total package that works. It’s maybe a small thing but the communications are always calm and respectful in tone - some digital banks act like they are a social media platform- this one knows it’s a bank!
