I have saved with Close Brothers for many years. The interest rates offered have always been competitive for a bank of the status and financial strength of Close Brothers. Every transaction undertaken from account opening to closure has always been handled with exemplary efficiency and with excellent and very clear statements and other documentation. Telephone enquiries are also routinely dealt with efficiently and courteously. I have used many other savings institutions over the years, including market leaders like Nationwide and Post Office Savings but my experience of Close Brothers has been consistently superior. It makes a change to be able to speak to a human so quickly rather than waiting in line for 20 minutes answering a series of tedious questions! Interest rates could be more competitive, but the service and communication makes up for it. My money feels very secure. Reviewed on: 17th November 2017
