Cynergy's on-line Savings

I have used Cynergy's on-line Savings account for several years. The application process makes it very simple to switch savings to another account if the interest rate changes. Their interest rates are usually quite competitive, and they often offer a bonus rate for the first 12 months. I have had a saving account with them from the start - since it changed from Bank of Cyprus to present. I have had a few issues over the years but all were sorted out satisfactorily. Therefore l have stayed with them and recently opened a Cash ISA too. Reviewed on: 23rd March 2026

Cynergy - the reliable bank

I have been a Cynergy customer since July 2022. I think I must have joined on the recommendation of Martin Lewis MSE. I’ve upgraded my easy access savings account several times since then to try and get their best interest rate. I know that there are currently better rates elsewhere, but I feel comfortable with Cynergy who have been very reliable over the years. Transfers happen immediately and I can trust my money to be in the right place at the right time. Reviewed on: 23rd March 2026

Many years of excellent service

I have been with them for many years even before they became Cynergy Bank and their systems and rates have always been excellent. My only criticism is that recently I have found their on-line customer service systems are rather clumsy and inadequate if you need to send them evidence of minor faults in their IT system.
