Many years of excellent service

I have been with them for many years even before they became Cynergy Bank and their systems and rates have always been excellent. My only criticism is that recently I have found their on-line customer service systems are rather clumsy and inadequate if you need to send them evidence of minor faults in their IT system. Used for years, easy to use, can have both personal and joint accounts, quick transfers both internally or nominated account, good interest rates overall an excellent Bank! Reviewed on: 23rd March 2026

My online savings account with Cynergy became inacce...

My online savings account with Cynergy became inaccessible over the course of last year after (I suspect) they had carried out an upgrade. I was obliged to move my savings to an alternative provider in June 2025. I am now owed interest that should have been paid to me in November 2025 which I now discover (thanks to the financial ombudsman) has been paid into the account which I am unable to access.
