Ethical, and so Supportive !

I love saving with a building society that does specific, practical things for the environment, and for housing (both so badly needed). Ethical - no investments in bombs or fossil fuels! The people who work for it are lovely! When I ring up to ask questions, I always get patient, friendly help and clear answers. Sure, the interest rate offered is modest - but this is outweighed by the peace of mind Ecology Building Society offers its customers. Reviewed on: 10th November 2024

GREAT TO SAVE WITH ECOLOGY BUILDING SOCIETY

Have invested in Ecology BS for decades. Savings offerings now so restricted that even our long history not enough to persuade it to take our money recently. Rates of return still competitive and great to invest in innovative sustainable projects and support business and families. Reviewed on: 12th March 2021

Completely reliable and truly ethical

It is such a refreshing change to deal with a company which is wholly focused on providing a sound, ethical service. Effortless ethical banking at last!

I opened a savings account with Ecology two years ago and the process was clear and smooth and I am so grateful to have more ethical choices in the marketplace. Breath of fresh air in the banking sector

You can see that Ecology Building Society really live their values. Unfortunately with many so-called "green" products and services, scratch the surface and it's just greenwashing and an excuse to try and boost sales. The EBS is fantastic

I have been a member of the EBS for over 30 years they are the pioneers in ethical banking and lending for a range of small community, self-build and rural businesses that would otherwise have no access to ethical ways to save, or get loans or mortgages.
