Proud to have been one of the first investors in 1981

I was one of the first investors in the Ecology Building Society in 1981, and have been a saver ever since. The Society has grown, but the staff are as ready to engage as they were when I was a Foundation Share Holder. The AGMs are always a highlight with guest speakers and reinforce how much good the Ecology does to improve and finance interesting community and private developments. Reviewed on: 1st October 2024

Professional organisation with ethical products

I have been with the EBS since 2021. I was attracted initially by the potential for an ethical savings product at a reasonable rate of return. This I got, but I have also been impressed by the friendly, proactive and professional service I have recieved from the staff and the functionality provided by their online presence. What's not to love?

Reliable, ethical and genuine, this organisation is doing far far more than most financial institutions to tackle climate change and social inequality. I wish other banks and building societies were as thoughtful and caring about our potential future. Their service is faultless, throughout the 2 decades I have been saving with them. Ecology BS is an organisation with a great purpose. It offers fair interest rates (even at a time of low rates elsewhere) backed up by great service. They keep in touch, telling members how the money is used. Reviewed on: 12th March 2022
