Review of the Experian, Credit Check:

Close to impossible to cancel

2
I tried Experian to get my credit score and to hopefully improve it. No problems so far, but when I tried to cancel it, they ignored it and took more money from my account. It took a very very long time and too many complaints before I got my account cancelled and my money back. Reviewed on: 6th May 2016

Useful and clear

Experian credit checker has a very user friendly interface which makes it easy to understand how your credit score has changed. It would be useful if certain features were not restricted to 'pro' such as the specific factors which influence your score. It is a useful tool to monitor credit and check how you are doing. Experian smart money

Let’s just say that that will flag your account for EVERYTHING! I use smart money banking and I have been inconvenienced for my own money for days!! You only get 5 atm transactions a month no matter the amount! So yeah no money for the duration aside for card swipes and possibly a transfer to your traditional bank that isn’t instant … I’m so irritated by this. The customer service sucks! I’m just disgusted for my few cents I definitely empathize with Wendy Williams and Brittany spears who goes through their finances being micromanaged!! Reviewed on: 7th May 2024

Not able to setup recurring payments

1
I opened the Experian checking account thinking that it was a good idea. Come to find out you cannot set up recurring payments using checking account number at this time. Since this is the case I had to set up using my debit card which incurs a 7 fee each time. I believe since I was led to believe that I would be able to use my checking account number that I should be reimbursed for this charge. If I hadn't already set up my direct deposit from social security I would immediately close this account and go elsewhere. What a load of crap Reviewed on: 20th December 2023
