Easy and confidence inspiring

I find it quick to get the information I want. It doesn't scare me off with metrics that are pointless for retail investors Reviewed on: 24th March 2022

Restricitng ability to buy US shares not good enough

1
I was with freetrade when they restricted the ability to buy US stocks at 'a time of volatility'. A broker shouldn't have this power. The markets are no longer free and fair if someone is controlling the buy button. Reviewed on: 24th March 2022

Lending out shares you criminals

1
Absolutely abhorrent behaviour. Making your users pay a monthly fee only to force us to agree to your terms to lend our shares out to shorts or you'll liquidate our portfolios. I hope other users vote in a similar manor and you're embarrassed by it. Sincerely Pi**ed off customer. Reviewed on: 24th March 2022

Lending my shares?

1
Truly had faith FT was different, even after the buy button was briefly removed in 2021, but recently had terms changed meaning that my shares will now be lent out? UK version of Robin Hood? You cannot ever make out like you’re here for the retail investors when you’re openly supporting those that short shares and manipulate the market. Should be ashamed that your morality has gone out of the window. Good luck getting that trust back Reviewed on: 24th March 2022

Poor Service in comparison to their competitors

1
There is absolutly nothing that makes freetrade stand out in comparison to their competitors. They do not support their clients and I guess where something is free, you are the product. This information is sold on and clearly infringes on whether they have their customer's best interests at heart. Reviewed on: 24th March 2022

Using their customers own position against them

1
Freetrade are forcing their customers to decide between having their shares lent out with no control or financial benefit to them or leaving their platform altogether. Those are the two options. Not only does forced share lending have no benefit to the share owners, its actually detrimental as the shares are sold by short sellers, driving the price of their position down. Reviewed on: 24th March 2022

Scam broker

1
Forces share lending which is a direct compromise of my position. I did not buy a stock to want it to be shorted. Reviewed on: 24th March 2022

They lend out your shares with no way to opt out

Shane on you freetrade

1
Freetrade will be lending their customers shares out for shorts to use against our stocks, and If we refuse freetrade will prevent us from buying more stocks..... Even if you pay their monthly fees! Shame on you freetrade! Reviewed on: 24th March 2022

Best trading app by far.
