With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

Simple and easy process and professionally dealt with

I have always heard a lot about the credit union from family and friends but didn't really know how it worked. I then decided I would like to apply for a loan with the credit union and I also wanted to try build up some savings as well. I'm someone who always pays my bills and I'm the type of person who believes that if I can't afford something then I will wait until I can because I have never asked anyone even my family for any help as I have always believed if I can't afford then I don't need it. I have worked since I was 15 which will be 41 years this year and everything I have I have worked for and appreciate what I have. I don't apply for loans very much and I didn't even have a credit card until a couple of months ago and I also work for a bank which means I have to make sure my credit file is up to date at all times. I called the office and applied for the loan and the experience was so easy and the agent explained everything to me I needed to know, I paid that loan off and decided to call and apply for another 1 which was just as quick and easy and I also didn't realise how much I had built up in savings either so I even got some of that transferred to my bank and that was amazing and simple. Brilliant Service!

I always reccomend Glasgow Credit Union to my friends/clients it’s because of their Brilliant Service! And GCU is the only one compony that gave me loans eventhough I don’t have good credit score because I was only 3 years here in the UK but they approved my application. Everytime Inphone the customer service they patiently speak slowly to me in order for me to understand what they saying, they are very helpful and respectful. Reviewed on: 1st July 2022
