With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

Best around by far

Glasgow Credit Union not only offer fantastic rates for their loan but when COVID caused financial problems they were so helpful and understanding and took the stress away from worrying about my loan repayments. They offered an immediate deferral and contacted me at the end of it to understand whether my position had changed. Thankfully it had and I was able to restart payments. I recently paid off a loan I had with the credit union and honestly can’t fault them. They’ve always been helpful, the interest was low and I was able to clear it early without any fee which meant I paid even less interest. Highly recommend the glasgow credit union. Reviewed on: 9th August 2021

Hassle Free Loans

Great customer service, quick and easy process and probably one of the best experiences I have had with any type of financial institute. They couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. I also now use them for my savings. Great rates and great overall experience. Reviewed on: 9th August 2021

Sharkfree loans

Because I had a low credit rating I was at the mercy of legitimate loan sharks ie Provident and such with their super high interest rates, which I needed to pay debt there and then only to be putting myself into even more debt for the next year or two and this vicious circle kept repeating itself, fortunately for me through my employers I was able to join Glasgow Credit Union, it was truly only then that I was able to get a grip with my finances, I started saving a small amount each month and after a year I applied for my first loan which was a secured loan because of my past history but I couldn't believe how low the interest was for people like me, I was now able to ignore the loan sharks and things literally just got better and better to the stage where I am debt and mortgage free and I couldn't have done it without joining Glasgow Credit Union, they put people first.
