With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

Sharkfree loans

Because I had a low credit rating I was at the mercy of legitimate loan sharks ie Provident and such with their super high interest rates, which I needed to pay debt there and then only to be putting myself into even more debt for the next year or two and this vicious circle kept repeating itself, fortunately for me through my employers I was able to join Glasgow Credit Union, it was truly only then that I was able to get a grip with my finances, I started saving a small amount each month and after a year I applied for my first loan which was a secured loan because of my past history but I couldn't believe how low the interest was for people like me, I was now able to ignore the loan sharks and things literally just got better and better to the stage where I am debt and mortgage free and I couldn't have done it without joining Glasgow Credit Union, they put people first. Excellent service by knowledgeable people

Fair, Open and Honest

Looking to consolidate debt I was looking for a loan. A loan that I could not only comfortably afford to pay back, but in the long term would also offer a benefit. Being able to pay off debt and save at the same time using the GCU loan agreement has been the best decision I have ever made. Dealing with GCU has been a breeze, they have been open and honest in their communication leading up to signing the loan agreement, wanting to understand my situation and ensuring I was making the right decision. Once agreed they walked me through the whole process, which was quick and easy. Unexpected loan

I already had a loan when my mum past away and I wanted to buy the mobility car I drove for my mum and Credit Union came to my rescue to help me buy the car before I was due to hand back, they were very understanding and very professional which now I'm driving with the happy memories.
