With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

Ethical, people friendly

I have been a member of Glasgow Credit Union for many years. Originally I paid into it through my salary (worked for GCC) then set up a Direct Debit so that I could continue saving. The process of applying for a loan is straightforward. Staff are always professional and friendly. Credit Unions are about the Community and how best to serve it. I like being a member of an organisation which is more personalised than a bank and also donates financially to worthy causes/charities. Reviewed on: 6th August 2021

Amazing staff, mobile app and service all round, should be the bench mark standard !

Spoke with James, initially an he was very helpful and came across very professional . Was very quick with the whole process for debt consolidation easy to do, this was very helpful as I had never done it before but was a breeze! Had also spoken with Aimee an Gillian an both were very nice an friendly (a good dashboard an easy to get a hold of) honestly just so impressed with the whole service an the friendly staff so thankyou as this took a huge stress off me and will help in the first step to get a place with myself and my partner for the first time! Quick, easy but also know when you out of budget so not to get you into debt

Beyonddddd easy to deal with

I took out a 5 grand loan a few years back. Any time I've wanted to pay a little extra in or transfer my saving into it, they are more than accommodating. So helpful, informative, easy - and I will 100% be using them in the future for any loans i may need! Cheers GCU x Reviewed on: 21st July 2020
