With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

Fast and easy process

Initially I was refused a loan (first time taking out credit) but having the opportunity to speak to Graham the underwriter I was able to explain my circumstances to which I was offered the loan with the advertised interest rates. in my opinion GCU always look out for its customers no matter what even when applying for a loan there first port of call is to make sure you can afford it first without any pressure, it also doesn't feel like deposition when requesting a loan unlike most other places it is made easy for the customer with the consequences explained expertly, fantastic service Reviewed on: 7th July 2020

Visit my family in South America (Chile)

Have lived in Scotland for 25 years and if it wasn't for Glasgow Credit Union I would not get to visit my family as often as I have been able to. In life there are times when emergencies happen and you require money quickly, it is comforting to know That I can rely on the Credit Union as I always maintain a level of savings which can be called upon.
