Glasgow Credit Union gave me the opportunity to invest and save money through my payroll each month, which for me was crucial as it really encouraged me to save for the first time in my life and I could apply for a loan at a very small rate, compared to the extortionate rates I was paying to companies such as Provident, who at the time where the only ones willing to give me a loan because I had a bad credit rating, but since I started saving with GCU 10 years ago I am now in a very comfortable financial situation and i can sleep at night stress free. GCU gave me the tools the products and the best advice to get my life back, and best of all the staff are brilliant, very friendly and very helpful they simply are the best. Affordable and easy to manage

I have been with the credit union for over 30 years and without it I could not have afforded to buy many things, the payments coming direct from your salary is so easy and the interest is competitive, the account is easy to manage and the savings soon mount up. Reviewed on: 30th May 2020

No nonsense organisation who give quick response to applications, which is what you want from a financial organisation.

I have been a member with them for at least 25 years and have always found that they give you an immediate response to any loan application and you are never kept waiting and wondering whether you are going to be successful or not. Phone calls are always responded to immediately. Great company to deal with - much better than the Royal Bank of Scotland who simply take ages about applications and it is as if they do not want your business. Reviewed on: 29th May 2020

Amazing Service

There is nothing GCC won't do to help with loans, savings or mortgages. They give you options that are better suited to your situation. I have been a member for a number of years and when my husband had a life changing accident they did everything they could to help. I have great faith in GCC and I have recommended GCC to family and friends that have since become members. Reviewed on: 29th May 2020
