Glasgow Credit Union loans can be used for any purpose including home improvements and debt consolidation.

With a Glasgow Credit Union loan, you can borrow up to £25,000. Once you’re a member, you can apply for a loan in app, online or by phone. You’ll need to save at least £10 per month into your Member Savings during the term.

I’ve been a member since 1990. Over the years the Credit Union has been there to provide help when needed. From a home improvement to a family wedding it felt like someone had my back. Now in retirement I’m still saving for future challenges but knowing the Credit Union is there if I need financial help. Reviewed on: 3rd July 2022

Easy to use and save

I’ve ben part of the Credit Union for 20+ years. When money is tight it’s been a great way to put aside money on a regular basis towards things like holidays and Christmas. I also like the ethos of it and that your a shareholder. Reviewed on: 3rd July 2022

Very efficient effective service. I have had to speak directly to staff to help me manage my son's account and received clarification and immediate action. I was also advised how to use the phone app which is super easy to use ,especially for an old Luddite like me! Apart from offering a loan/ saving service they quickly reacted to a situation about 20 years ago when a lot of people lost their Christmas savings due to a specific Company going broke and GCU set up a separate savings account just for Christmas it was so welcome. Reviewed on: 3rd July 2022
