In Australia when the C19 hit. Phoned the company and the advice was helpful. On return to UK filed a claim and the first response was quick and professional. Awaiting an outcome but feel the prompt initial response suggests they are dealing appropriately with the claim and have sufficient staff to conclude business as quickly as practically possible. I am over 70 years old and wanted to visit my daughter in Perth, Australia last year. Some of the insurance quotes that I received were horrendous and nearly as much as the air ticket itself. I turned to Goodtogoinsurance in the end and bingo they came up with a fair cover plan for me. I will be using them for my next trip out to Australia when the lock down eases. Such a great company. The site is really easy to follow so getting my insurance sorted was straightforward, especially with my health conditions and much cheaper than a lot of other insurance companies that include specific cover for health issues. A great policy if you don’t have health concerns too and they cover Coronavirus which is really important. I needed to add another person to my cover and the customer service we’re fantastic, polite, helpful and clear they got it sorted in minutes. The best travel insurance company I’ve ever used! F&CO's advice - Seemed not covered either way !

Thought purpose of insurance was to cover you for most eventualities. Paid a high premium (due to medical issues) but once advice was given on the F&CO website not to travel we thought we would be covered - not so. An announcement on Goodtogoinsurance website said that we were not covered if we cancelled our holiday (following F&C's advice) and not covered if we went against the F&C's advice and went on holiday . Could'nt win either way. Consider Goodtogoinsurance most unhelpful compared to other companies. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2020

Obviously without actually making a claim, it’s not possible to give a full recommendation, however, actually getting the cover I needed was a breeze despite my particularly unusual circumstances. I will definitely use you again. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2020
