Not Happy

Since starting my policy I have had nothing but hassle. I have contacted customer service 4 times for help but to no satisfaction. I would highly recommend you go elsewhere. Reviewed on: 10th April 2025

Hidden Fee's

SCAM ..and still charged me 130 Pounds

Insurance is a complete Scam. GoSkippy Insurence gave me a policy cancelled it then charged me £130. Avoid them!! Company should be closed down !!! Reviewed on: 19th October 2022

Cancelled my policy afte telling me its sorted

Absolutely useless, they cancelled my insurance after uploading all sorts of documents, rang then to sort it buy yet still cancelled it Reviewed on: 5th October 2022

Wish I could rate 0 stars - AVOID!

They attempted at every given opportunity to charge me "admin fees" for example I needed to change my address and the first time they said either do it on the portal or if you do it on the phone it'll cost £50. Then they locked my portal, so I had to call up and they said so to change your address its a £35 admin fee! No communication between customers or even other colleagues as they all told me different things. I tried to resolve issues and the customer care was just abysmal and dodged my questions to try and charge me more admin fees! Never really do reviews but they were so awful I thought I need to! Highly delighted

Firstly they took my payment over the phone because I had problems doing it on line, they were £50 cheaper than anyone else AND when I had to change everything after my first choice of cars blew up after three days, they have said they will only charge me a few quid, less than a fiver, AMAZING they will get my vote for every car I need insured in the future, WELL DONE GUYS Reviewed on: 27th September 2022

This company is trying to rip off customers

This insurance company is trying to rip customers off. This is a letter Ive written to the company - and copied in my MP. Situation: I have earned >13yrs no claims discount. The previous company I was insured with, Hastings insurance, as with many others, will only confirm 9 or more years insurance for some strange reason? Hastings told me it's because this is the maximum NCD you get is at 9yrs - which doesn't really make sense. I was disappointed to see an email from GoSkippy which is requesting an additional premium of £162.13 including insurance premium tax and the administration fee of £50?? I had read some reviews of the company where this was alleged for other new policyholders, so I did check with a representative before taking out the policy - they also confirmed that no additional discount is offered over and above 9yrs. Wish I had read the reviews

I just wish I had read the reviews before taking out a policy with these crooks. I have NEVER come across such appalling customer service and underhanded business practice in my life. Do yourself a huge favour and avoid them at all costs, you will not save any money in the long run. Their initial quote may be cheaper than others, but they will add on additional charges at every possible opportunity. I have now had to pay double the original quote, and have been subjected to the most disgusting rude and unhelpful customer service. Reviewed on: 24th September 2022
