Does the job

The system is good in theory. But in execution it requires work. I only knew about my valuation and offer as a result of asking for the NatWest tracking number. By the time the tracker has updated, it was after my mortgage offer had come through. I have had no updates, only requests for further documents which should have been requested at the outset (such as proof of deposit). Also I had to explain how a number of accounts added up to make a deposit (basic maths). In essence, I feel that little work was done save for forwarding on some documents. Excellent service

I had a mortgage in principle within an hour, my application was submitted within a day and I had my mortgage offer within a week. Communication was excellent, got back to me straight away. Reviewed on: 17th February 2022

How it should be done

Sometimes you think that doing it online instead of in person will be easier but not necessarily quicker, and will lack a personal touch. This is absolutely not the case with Habito. All messages were responded to quickly - it's easy to see if people are online, if they have read your message, if they are typing etc. There is a great blend of 'stock' messages - templates that give you explicit instruction - but rather than impersonal, they feel appropriate - and there is always, always, someone there on the other side to talk to. And the communication is great. On top of that - the UI/UX is first class. Its desktop based but hands over to an app for document uploads. Really impressed. Reviewed on: 17th February 2022
